Welcome HOME Karlee Long!

HOME Real Estate is thrilled to announce their newest agent, Karlee Long, who is joining their Lincoln, NE Midtown office. Karlee graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Doane College and has worked for the QP Ace Hardware Corporation in designing and maintaining their website, social media and other advertising mediums.  She has also been involved at the retail level and understands the importance of outstanding customer service.   Karlee continuously seeks to stay ahead of the game when it comes to market education and trends.  In her free time, she enjoys adventurous hikes with her dog Moose, keeping fit at the gym, decorating her home, and cheering on the Husker football team.

Welcome HOME Kelsey Park!

HOME Real Estate is thrilled to announce their newest agent, Kelsey Park, who is joining their Lincoln, NE Midtown office. Kelsey grew up south of Lincoln in Hickman, Nebraska. After graduating from Norris High School, she moved to Chicago and pursued a career in opera performance, receiving a Bachelor of Music from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Music from Northwestern University. She was praised by the Chicago Tribune for her lustrous voice, a mezzo soprano.
Kelsey and her husband moved back to Lincoln last year and chose to stay for his position as a worship pastor at North Pointe Community Church. They’ve enjoyed exploring Lincoln’s many bike trails, introducing friends to Japanese and Korean cuisine, and growing a vegetable garden. Kelsey joins her brother, Matt Ankerson at HOME.

Welcome HOME Kim Bussey!

HOME Real Estate is thrilled to announce their newest agent, Kim Bussey, who is joining their Lincoln, NE Midtown office. Kim was born in Columbus, Nebraska, later moved to Grand Island then to Lincoln where she has lived since the age of four. She attended Lincoln East High School and graduated from Doane Crete, with a degree in Accounting. She spent over 17 years working in support, management, and as an analyst at Lincoln Benefit Life/Allstate financial in their Life New Business Department. The past four years she worked at Advance Medical Imaging in accounts payable and medical credentialing.
Kim and her husband spend a lot of their time at the ball field or indoor practice with their 12 ½ year old daughter, Jordan who is a pitcher for the Waverly Heat. In her free time (which is obsolete), she loves to golf, travel, cook and spend time with her family and their Peek-a-Poo (dog) Ariel, who runs the house!

Welcome HOME Andrew Keller!

HOME Real Estate is excited to announce their newest agent, Andrew Keller, who is joining their Lincoln, NE Midtown office. Andrew was born on Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri in 1983, where his father was stationed during part of his enlistment in the United States Air Force. He spent a few years abroad in England due to his father’s military career, ending back near family in Nebraska. He has lived in several towns within the South central part of Nebraska to include Blue Hill, Grafton, and Sutton.
He graduated in 2002 from Sutton Public School, and 6 months later enlisted in the United States Air Force, following his father footsteps, as an Operations Intelligence Analyst. During his 13+ years in the USAF Andrew spent time in Iraq, Qatar, Republic of Korea, and several state side assignments. In 2015, Andrew completed his last enlistment, and moved back to Lincoln, Nebraska. Since moving to Lincoln Andrew has start his family with his Girlfriend, Catherine & her daughter Hayden. A little over three months ago they welcomed their new daughter Evie into the world.

Welcome HOME Brian Edwards!

HOME Real Estate is excited to announce their newest agent, Brian Edwards, is joining their Lincoln, NE Midtown office. Brian, a native from Lincoln graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School and continued his education at the University of Nebraska Lincoln graduating in May 2017 with a Management degree. While at UNL, he was a four year member of the Cornhusker Marching Band and Big Red Express, playing the clarinet. Brian was proud to be included as part of the leadership team both his Junior and Senior year. He was fortunate to see many incredible games and travel to many of the conferences and NCAA tournaments, but he learned “there really is No Place Like Nebraska!” Some of his favorite memories include playing band at the Final Four and Championship volleyball games in both 2015 and 2016.
Brian still plays his clarinet at church every Sunday. In his spare time, he likes to hang out with friends, fish, anything involving sports and doing small wood-working projects. He is excited to start his next adventure, in Real Estate!

In 2002 he moved to Atlanta to attend Atlanta Institute of Music. After he graduated he taught music at various schools and stores. He co-founded a music camp where he helped bring people together and put on performances. Eventually, he found himself back in Atlanta except now he played in The Lefty Williams Band, a southern rock band that toured the USA. He eventually made the decision to leave the music industry, to be able to focus on his family. He’s married to his wife Ashley and they have four wonderful children.

Since then I have moved many times and I have very carefully chosen each home I’ve lived in as not just a reflection of my financial situation, but as a reflection of my identity, making sure that each home had special features or would offer benefits to enrich my daily life.

 

Early on I invested in both commercial and residential properties and was able to reap far above average returns on my initial investments, while enriching the neighborhoods I’ve chosen to be a part of. 

 

In my twenties, I moved to Milan Italy, to get a Masters in Design. I stayed in Europe for the next twelve years where I started a property management company, worked in design, real estate and finance. My clients, in some of the most beautiful locations world-wide, have entrusted me with their luxury properties worth millions of dollars. These properties, I marketed and managed for them making sure their investments were lucrative year round. 

 

I’ve returned to my home town of Lincoln, Nebraska to be closer to family and to start on my own. I love traveling, singing jazz and weight lifting.
