    According to the 2012 National Association of REALTORS (NAR) Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, the median FSBO (For Sale By Owner) home sold for $174,900, compared to $215,000 for an agent-assisted sale, a 23 percent difference!
  2. We understand how to complete the many contracts, forms and disclosure statements required in a real estate transaction.
    These forms include lead paint disclosure statement, property condition disclosure statement, purchase contract, legal description of the property, contingency clause addendum, and many more. According to the 2012 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, understanding and performing paperwork was the biggest problem FSBOs had in selling their home.
  3. This is our profession.
    This isn't a part-time gig for most of us. We are available anytime to answer all your questions. If a pre-qualifed buyer calls and wants to see your house, we will do everything to accommodate them and you.

    Sure, you may know what one or two homes in your area sold for, but you may not have access to the wide number of comparables we see daily or the market knowledge to adjust pricing.     Many FSBOs think that once the purchase agreement is signed, their work is over. Well, it's NOT! Before closing--depending on the buyer's financing—the FSBO may need a home inspection, termite inspection, title insurance, mortgage insurance, survey, appraiser, an escrow account set up, radon inspection, etc. Any number of things can cause a transaction to fall apart. Our job is to help keep it together through closing.
