| | Selling your home is a team effort.. As an owner who has decided to offer your home for sale, you may decide to use the services of a real estate licensee to assist you in that sale. If you do, at the earliest opportunity during or following the first substantial contact with you as a seller, the licensee meeting with you must provide you with a Real Estate Commission prepared and approved disclosure pamphlet, entitled “Brokerage Relationships in Real Estate Transactions”, which describes the brokerage, or agency, relationships allowable in Nebraska. While you the seller is actively getting the house ready to show, your Realtor has designed a marketing plan for your property and is actively spreading the word that the property is available. Generally speaking, the listing is promoted to two groups: the real estate community and the buying public. By exposing your home to the broadest possible audience through a coordinate marketing plan, you’ll have a better chance of attracting a qualified buyer. | |
